Q:  How can I maximize revenue for my recyclables?

A:  Proper sorting of items at your store, removal of trash/broken items/items not accepted, and full and proper trailer loading will ensure you receive the most revenue per trailer.

Q:  Do you accept items that are broken or inoperable?

A:  We are a recycling agency; therefore we accept items that can be reused—not garbage. If it CANNOT be reused, please throw it away.

  • Single Shoes (please keep single shoes together)
  • Accessories, including purses, hats, backpacks, belts, wallets, and fabric shopping bags

  • Damaged clothing or merchandise
  • Anything broken
  • Wet, soiled or mildewed items
  • Garbage of any kind

Q:  What suggestions do you have for sorting merchandise?

A:  We strongly recommend that you label your gaylords or bins. This makes it easier for your team when sorting non-clothing items, such as shoes, toys and accessories.

Q:  When should I call ARC to schedule a pick-up?

A: We suggest when your trailer is about one week from being full, contact Atlanta Recycling Company to arrange for pick-up.
